Mission statement:
"We are a sanctuary where recovering animals experience the joys of little hands and loving care for life. By fostering compassion between children and animals, we ensure that future generations are equipped to be a voice for animals in need."
Delmar Farm is a 501c3 nonprofit equine and farm animal sanctuary dedicated to providing lifelong homes to all of its residents. We currently have 55 animals in our care which consist of horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep, a cow, dogs and a barn cat. The majority of our animals are rescues, special needs, seniors or have been donated to us. We are passionate about teaching responsibility, respect, and compassion for animals. We love being able to share their love with so many and provide life impacting experiences. Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals, and to provide educational programs and emotional therapy through the love of our animals. Our programs are always evolving and benefit hundreds of children each year.
We believe that children will lead the way for the protection and care of animals in the future. By creating compassion between children and animals, we hope to be part of that path. You can help us continue.
Delmar Farm ES is also the official South Florida Satellite Adoption Center for Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue.
We take care of them for life. Many of of our horses are "undesirables" due to age, ailments or usefulness. Most people don't want to take on the burden of feeding a horse that isn't useful to them or is special needs because it is very costly. Our rescued farm animals have added another dimension to the sanctuary and their care is individualized and safely managed. They have all contributed immensely with our educational programs and emotional therapy.
We're a 501C3 nonprofit organization so donations are tax deductible! EIN # 83-2447550
We need your help! Your tax deductible donations are what helps support our residents. In turn, they help so many though our programs. Please consider a monthly donation to help us with our mission! Use PayPal, Venmo, check, or become a monthly sponsor. We welcome business sponsorships!! Lets talk! Thank you! EIN # 83-2447550

Louie and Dobby were part of a horrific rescue case. We brought them to the sanctuary as terrified babies on deaths door and took good care to earn their trust while poor baby Louie had to undergo several painstaking medical treatments where he almost lost his leg but fortunately we were able to save it and now he is walking almost perfectly! These two have made such progress and now love when children visit them. Two of the sweetest animals at the sanctuary! Won't you sponsor them to help with their care and all their sweet friends? Thumbelina was our first pig rescue (we now have 7!!) who's background is unknown since she was found as a stray. She is so laid back and gentle and was paired with Esme after her orginal group of pigs were aggressive towards her. She is much happier with Esme! Esme was very young when she was brought to the sanctuary as she was found roaming the streets. Clearly she was dumped. Please sponsor these sweet girls and their friends at the farm. Chose a monthly amount and email us to let us know to receive a certificate of appreciation from Esme and Thumbelina.
This group of rescue piggies are such characters! Margo is in a league of her own! Please chose any monthly amount to help support these cuties and their farm friends. Email us to let us know to receive a certificate of appreciation from the piggies!
Our rescue donkeys, Bowie, Boo, White Guy and Lola are such an important part of all of our educational and therapeutic programs. Please chose a monthly amount to help support these precious souls and their friends at the sanctuary. Email us to let us know to receive a certificate of appreciation from the donkeys!
The minis!!! These little old ladies are the longest residents at the sanctuary. going on 22 years! Lucy, Peanut, Niblet and Buffy are truly stars of the farm! They are so patient, sweet and great little teachers for the smallest and youngest of our students. They came here so long ago as feral and unhandled and now are just the best! Won't you help take care of these gentle little teachers of wee little ones? Help them and their friends by choosing a monthly amount and email us to let us know to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Minis!
